Hello Christ’s Church,
On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, the Elders of Christ’s Church of Marion County met to discuss what is being considered the “Relaunch of CCOMC Worship Service”.   The decisions made were not made without prayerful consideration as well as recommendations from our state and federal government, participation in webinars, and conversations with leaders of other religious organizations throughout the area.
A letter was sent to the membership.  If you did not receive a copy of that letter in the mail, please click here to download a complete copy of the letter.
We are excited to welcome you on Sunday, June 7 at 9:15 a.m.

Hello Christ’s Church,

Today is Monday, May 4. Because of the COVID-19 PANDEMIC, Christ’s Church of Marion County and all churches in the country are experiencing a situation never-before encountered in our lifetimes. We have been discovering new ways to utilize technologies to communicate, care for and nurture the flock.

Currently the church is facing another first-time experience… how to re-launch. Our Elders are prayerfully weighing information received from the CDC and awaiting guidance for safely returning to our building for worship. We are fully aware of the demographic risk factors for most worshipers at Christ’s Church and your safety is of great concern to us.

We hope to decide later this month, when to re-launch.

We will trust God to lead us forward.

Please continue to pray for the Kingdom of God all over the world. We miss you…… and we love you.

I’ll see you real soon. Here, there or in the air. Bye bye now.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, the Sharing Hope Ministry will be at our West Building (6880 SW 80th Street) from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon for many purposes.  These include:

  1. Distribute food to church members who are in need of food whether it’s bread, meat, or canned goods;
  2. Accept donations of food for the cause;
  3. Accept donations of clothing and other items normally received by Christ’s Church of Marion County for donation;
  4. Receive your tithes and offerings.

Guys – it’s ’s just a matter of getting through this.  We’re going to continue to pray and be supportive of one another.  If you know someone who maybe needs a telephone call  – give them a call.  This is an opportunity just waiting for you to take advantage of it.

I’ll see you real soon – here, there, or in the air.

Unfortunately, as you know, we have cancelled services for the next eight (8) weeks, but we still have staff to pay, we still have light bills, and the normal costs of operations.

I’m encouraging you as a good Christian steward to be sure and send your offering in to the church.  If you need someone to pick it up, please call me at 352-843-2755 and I’ll be happy to pick it up.  If it’s easier – you may mail it to the church at:  Christ’s Church of Marion County, 6768 SW 80th Street, Ocala, FL  34476.

We appreciate you and we appreciate our saints.  Consider sending your offering in.  Thank you.  God Bless You.  Have a great day.

Last night (Sunday, March 15, 2020) the Center for Disease Control (CDC)  made an announcement requesting that we not meet in groups of 50 or larger for the next eight (8) weeks.

The Elders of Christ’s Church of Marion County met on Monday morning and we will comply with this request.  We will not be meeting in groups larger than 50 for the next eight (8) weeks.  Our next Worship Service on a Sunday morning will be Sunday morning, May 10 – Mother’s Day.

All Concerts, DOERS Bible Study, Classical Conversations Home School group (that meets in our building on Thursdays) and all larger groups are suspended for 8 weeks.

We will continue to worship!  Our radio time will carry the current message.  The sermon for March 22 will be on the air at 9:30 am Sunday morning.  You may tune in to WITG Radio – 104.7 FM.

Hopefully you can listen on our webpage – www.ccomc.org.  Our website has years of sermons you can listen to.

Hey Guys, God has got this!!!

We are going to live between:  God is GOOD and God is in CONTROL.  God is good and we can trust His control.

I’ll see you real soon!  Here, there, or in the air!!
